Snowman

My house needed some dressing up after taking down all the Christmas, so I got a little creative and after checking out some different things people had done and I had seen a can snowman at my Aunts house once and had been wanting to make one for a while and now I have the time so here we go.Add a little hot glue and some spray paint and a goggle search for cute snowman faces for some ideas, and we are off : )

I found the hat idea from: http://www.allreddesign.net/2012/10/snowman-holiday-hat-tutorial.htmlI loved hers and thought this would be much cuter than my original idea of the knit hat so I used Cardboard instead of the record for the Hat brim and found the greenery at Wal-mart on clearance, ya gotta love after Christmas sales

Happy New Year!!!

January, take a big breath and slow way down for the slowest month of the year, and I love it! I love the weather, the goal making and the evaluating of a new year. What kind of year is it going to be? I'm not sure but it will be great! My yearly checklist is starting in my head...put away the tree, clean up the holiday clutter, ready up for school to start again, read that book that I was told to read at Halloween and have't had time to even find, take a long look at the garden and what do I see for spring? What few more projects around the house can I get in before things thaw and I am lost in my garden. I love it, it is sad to put all of the Christmas away, and take back the house from the holidays, But it is a a breath of fresh air to me, 2013 will be a great adventure for us and I am just as excited about it as my kids get about Santa!                                           Happy New Year!
